We were delighted to send a group of Year 9 students to help with this year’s Sussex Cricket Foundation disability day – this year renamed as #DIScoverABILITY Day. Every year Sussex Cricket opens its doors to the Country Ground in Hove to school schools, day centres, community groups and individuals and our students, under the guidance of Assistant Headteacher/SENCO Graham Odlin, went along to help out and generally lend a hand.
The students had a fabulous day in the sun supporting and guiding the people attending – make cricket accessible to everyone. Mr Odlin praised our students for their delightful attitude all day and their patience and kindness. The students who went along were Hannah Boulter, James Foster, Josie Griffiths, Phillipa Holdstock, Luke Reid, Michael Rose, Jayden Stripp, Alicia Tucker, Jude Wallis-Emmess and Joe Longster.
