Hassocks Goes Gold for September – congratulations to all the poster competition winners!

Local resident Rachel BartlettBundy has organised for Hassocks to go Gold for September. Part of this has been a poster competition. Rachel said “Inspired by both the GlowGoldSeptember campaign which last year illuminated iconic buildings and landmarks gold to raise awareness of Childhood Cancer; and inspired by my own precious daughter Pearl who had so much life and fierce determination but was cut down age 10 by this cruel disease, I have made it my aim to turn the whole of Hassocks gold for September 2019.There were 107 entries covering all three schools, with entries from reception to GCSE classes, and the quality was amazing. It was a hard decision for our team of judges to narrow it down, but I designed the poster to fit in as many as possible.”

ALL of the 107 entries will be showcased at a special exhibition at The Mother Sussex Café (at Garden Sage Nurseries on the Hassocks Rd), from Friday 20th Sept.
