ALL ABOUT ME PROJECT: ONE FOR DADS
One for Dads: We have funding to spend on the Dads you support who are not in paid work!

We will help them to overcome barriers which are stopping them getting paid work through weekly 1:1 meetings. These meetings take place somewhere that is good for the Dad, where we will help move them in the right direction whilst participating in an interest of theirs, like building, gardening, computing or exercising, or just over a cup of tea! We could even fund an activity for interview clothes, travel costs and much more.

Contact Sharyn at sharyn.wall@aspiresussex.org.uk to find out more.
OUR ADULT WITH CHILD ACTIVITIES ARE BACK THIS FEBRUARY HALF TERM
These courses are perfect for parents who are looking for activities for this February half term!

For a full list of our upcoming Adult with Child activities, visit the Parent and Child page on our website. If you are willing to display this leaflet, please download it here or contact communication@aspiresussex.org.uk to be sent some.
Children must be 5 years or older. The price stated is for one adult and one child. An additional child can be added for £7.00. Maximum of 2 children per booking. It is the responsibility of the adult (who must be over 19 years old) to look after the child at all times whilst on Aspire premises. For more information, email us at enquiries@aspiresussex.org.uk or call 0345 601 0161.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR MEMBERS AND TRUSTEES

We wish to appoint new Trustees to strengthen our Board and would be particularly interested in receiving applications from individuals who have a Legal, Marketing or Finance background. As a Trustee you will be responsible as part of the Board for the overall governance and strategic direction of the charity, in accordance with Aspire’s Articles of Association, and legal and regulatory guidelines. Board and sub-committee meetings are usually held in Burgess Hill, but may be held at any of our Centres in West Sussex. The time commitment needed is around 50 hours per year, which includes attending around 15 meetings per year.

We also wish to appoint new Company Members. Our Members are a significant part of our governance system, and are highly valued for their external perspective. We wish to recruit people with a strong interest in the work of Aspire who wish to help us provide high quality adult education in West Sussex and beyond. Their role includes the scrutiny of the Annual Report and Accounts and the election of Trustees. The time commitment is around 2-3 days per year.

Please contact Elaine Schegar at elaine.schegar@aspiresussex.org.uk for more information.
