Year 11 pupils have participated in Revision Workshops. These have been run by Action Your Potential, one of our provision partners.
We are delighted that Andrew Wright, founder of Action Your Potential, has offered to follow this up by addressing parents/carers and pupils on the key elements of effective revision practice.
Our surveys tell us that Year 11 pupils find committing to a revision schedule challenging and would welcome additional guidance on the most effective revision methods. It is well evidenced in academic research that pupils benefit from better outcomes if parents and carers can support them during this examination year.
The evening is intended to give students and parents/carers key strategies to succeed this year.
