Downlands Community School warmly invites prospective students and their families to attend our Annual Open Evening on Thursday, 2nd October, beginning at 6:00pm.
This important event offers families the perfect opportunity to experience the unique atmosphere and outstanding learning environment that Downlands is proud to offer. Throughout the evening, there will be two opportunities to hear the Headteacher’s address — the first at 6:15pm, and a second at 7:30pm. The first talk will begin once the Main Hall is full, and visitors attending the later talk will have the chance to explore the school beforehand.
After the initial Headteacher’s address, student guides will accompany families on guided tours of the school. These tours are an excellent way to see our facilities, meet current students, and gain a real insight into ‘life at Downlands’. For those attending the 7:30pm talk, tours will take place from 6:15pm onwards, with a bell to signal the start of the second presentation.
