Our fabulous Downlands Christmas Market will take place on Saturday 29th November, and we need your help to make it another huge success!

The Downlands School Association (DSA) is kindly asking every student to donate an item for the Christmas Market, and we will be holding a special “donations day” on FRIDAY 28th NOVEMBER. This year, students will not have a non-uniform day; instead, those who bring a donation will be automatically entered into a prize draw!

Each year group will be responsible for donating a particular item:

–          Year 7: Jazzy Jars filled with wrapped sweets (sweets in a jar)

–          Year 8: Non-alcoholic bottles (no empties please!)

–          Year 9: Toiletries (unused)

–          Year 10: Wrapped and boxed chocolates

–          Year 11: Christmas produce (Christmas cakes, mince pies, chutneys, biscuits etc – either handmade or shop bought).

Students should bring their donation straight to their tutor on Friday 28th November, to ensure entry into the prize draw!

We would also be grateful for any additional donations of:

–          unwanted uniform

–          new or excellent second-hand quality books

–          bottles of alcohol for our alcohol bottle tombola

These can be dropped in to reception any time up until Friday 28th of November, but please note that alcoholic bottles may ONLY be dropped off by parents/carers (students MUST NOT bring them in!).

WE ALSO NEED YOU! If you can help us prep, run a stall, set up or tidy away at the market, please let us know – we can’t do it without you! You can sign up for a slot here:
